Mrs Constance Valentine was born at Avoca on 11 Mar 1847, a daughter of Thomas Ransom (1820-1904) and his wife Sarah Stanfield (c.1823-1890) of 'Killymoon', Avoca. Constance married William Henry Valentine on 27 Apr 1869 at Cullenswood. They had four daughters and eight sons between 1870 and 1892. Constance died on 21 Mar 1894 in Launceston and was buried in the Cypress Street Cemetery. Her husband, son Ernest and sisters Emily Gaunt and Alice and Evelyn Ransom also are pictured in the Family Album.
