Elizabeth Dinah Rylands was born at Deloraine on 18 Nov 1871 to William Rylands and his wife Mary Wilkinson. On 16 Nov 1892, at Deloraine, Elizabeth married John Peter, an iron moulder in the family business of Peter & Son, Launceston. They did not have any children. After their marriage they lived at 61 Galvin Street, Launceston. Elizabeth died aged 90 on 15 Aug 1962. She was buried next to her husband at the Carr Villa Cemetery. He is also pictured in the Family Album.
