Mrs Agnes Percy Richardson was born on 22 Aug 1827 in Hobart to William and Susannah Peet. She married widower and surgeon Dr James Richardson on 12 May 1855 in Launceston. Dr Richardson's first wife was Eliza Dry, a sister of Sir Richard Dry. James and Agnes had six children: Amy in Launceston in 1856; Florence, 1857 and Herbert, 1858 in Hagley; and Frank, 1861; Chester, 1864 and Kate, 1866 in George Town. James died on 15 Oct 1889 at the age of 81. Agnes died on 21 Mar 1913 aged 86 and was buried with her husband at the Cypress Street Cemetery. Her address at the time was 11 Elphin Road, Launceston.
