This is possibly John William Douglas Nisbet (known as Douglas) who was born about 1869, the eldest son of John William Nisbet and Cath Charlotte Rodman. John married Martha Helena Axelina (Linna) Olson on 21 Apr 1902 at St John's Church, Launceston. Martha was born in Deloraine on 18 Oct 1874, daughter of Anders Johann Olson and Frances Hedberg and died in Fitzroy, Victoria in Jun 1948, aged 73. Their first son, Kenneth Fran Nigel Nisbet, was born in Victoria in 1907.

Douglas Nisbet worked as an accountant in Victoria and died aged 80 at the Austin Hospital, Melbourne, on 1 Mar 1949.
