This is possibly Bridget McHenry, nee Sullivan, who was born about 1827. She married Thomas McHenry in Launceston on 15 Apr 1850 when she was 23 years of age. The couple had two sons, both born in Launceston: Thomas, 11 Feb 1861 and Richard, 23 Oct 1863. Bridget would have been over sixty at this time but no other possible match for this portrait could be found.
