Norman Crosby Massey, born at 'Kingston' on 9 Nov 1873, was the youngest son of Thomas William Massey (1830-1914), gentleman farmer, and Emma Lance Towner (1829-1915). In 1903 he was a clerk living in Mayne Street, Invermay. He remained in Launceston until his retirement when he moved to Toorak, Victoria. He lived with his sister Mary Beecraft Massey for some years. She died at Brighton, Victoria, in 1941 aged 86. Norman died at St Kilda in 1961.
