Clara Isabel Maddox was born on 16 Apr 1851, the sixth child of Dr George Maddox (1815-1867) and his wife Emily Elizabeth Lakeland. She did not marry and died at her residence in George Street, Launceston, in Feb 1911. See The Examiner 27 May 2006, p.34.
