This is possibly Tasman Herbert (or Robert) Lawrence who was born at 'Blenheim Farm', Longford on 21 Apr 1876 to William, a farmer, and his wife Ann. His siblings were: Ernest Albert, 1870; Laura, 1872; and Percy Donald, 1879, who died aged 6 months. At Cressy on 14 Nov 1900, Tasman married Minnie Hortle, the daughter of Thomas William Hortle and Elizabeth Hopwood. Thomas was a storeman who later became a carrier, working from 41 Oldaker St, Devonport. He died on 16 Feb 1958 at Devonport and was buried in the Devonport Cemetery. His wife, who was born on 23 May 1877, died on 15 October, also in 1958.
