Amy Louisa King was born in Launceston at 'Lowescroft' on 29 Sep 1877, a daughter of John King, an accountant, and Louisa Blake. Her father John and sister Edith Elizabeth King also appear in the Album. The King family moved to Victoria about 1892.

Amy married Thomas Jeremiah Baillie in Meredith, Victoria, in 1896. Amy and Thomas had 11 children: the eldest, John, was born in in 1897 and the youngest, Donald, was born in 1919. All were born in the Yarrawonga area in Victoria where the family lived for many years. Thomas, a clerk and auctioneer, died aged 77 in 1952, and Amy died aged 84 in 1962.
