Leah Gabrielle Joubert, born on 3 Jul 1875 in NSW, was the ninth of ten children born to Jules Francois de Sales Joubert (1824-1907) and his second wife Adelaide Levi (1833-1910). They were in Launceston while her father organised the 1891 Tasmanian Exhibition. He later went on to Hobart where he consulted on the Exhibition of 1894-95. Leah married Cecil Telford Fletcher in Jun or Jul 1896 in Brisbane, Queensland. The Jouberts were living at 'Forcella', New Farm, at the time. Cecil was from Freemantle, Western Australia. He was a son of S G Fletcher, a solicitor from Bathurst, NSW. Leah died on 10 Feb 1937. Her mother is also pictured in the Family Album. See The Examiner 26 Nov 2005, p. 29.
