This is possibly Emily Frances Jepson who was born about 1874 in Sweden, daughter of Johann Jacob Gepson and Annie Maria Sicklemore. Emily came to Australia aged two with her mother (described as British) and brother John, aged 8, arriving in Melbourne on 14 February 1877 after a voyage from Helsingfors.
Miss Jepson was a soprano in the Exhibition Choir of 1891-92. On 23 Jan 1892, when she was 17, Emily married 30 year old Charles Scott, a joiner, at Launceston. They had two children while in Launceston: Sydney Walter, born 30 Oct 1892 and Charles Herbert, born Mar 1895.
The family appears to have moved to the UK where, in the 1901 census, they are living in Nuneaton, Warwickshire where Charles is described as a Salvation Army captain. Two more children were born in England, Ila Roseveira in 1902 and Irene Amelia in 1908.
Both of Emily's sons died in France during World War I: Charles in 1915 and Sydney in 1917.
