Florence Mary Clewer (Florrie) Hart, was the only child of William Hart (1850-1878) and Florence Morey Clewer (1858-1878), who were married at New Norfolk in 1876. William died of 'low fever' on 27 Feb 1878, before Florence was born on 8 May 1878. Florence's mother died from pneumonia just one month after her birth, on 8 Jun 1878. Florence was left in the care of her grandfather, the Hon. William Hart and his first wife Mary nee Hussey of 'Bifrons'. Mary died in 1883 and William married Mrs Emma Noble in Nov 1884. Two of Emma's daughters, Agnes and Edith Noble, are pictured in the Family Album.
Florence married Clement Hill on 17 Jan 1905 at the Paterson Street Methodist Church, Launceston. Clement was a member of the Australian National Cricket Team from 1896 to 1912. They had two daughters, Lesley and Brenda, and a son Clement who died in infancy. Florence died in 1938 and Clement died in 1945.
