This is possibly Emily Florence Hardwicke, born at Campbell Town on 13 Jan 1869, the eldest daughter of Thomas Hardwicke (1825-1912) and his second wife Jane Wall Chamberlain (died aged 48 on 6 Nov 1892). Emily was the granddaughter of Charles Browne Hardwicke, sea captain and early pioneer of Northern Tasmania.

Emily died aged 23 at the family home in Mayne Street, Invermay, on 15 Nov 1892 and was buried in the Old Cypress Street Cemetery, Launceston. She died just nine days after her mother's death. Two of her sisters, Laura Jane Eddie and Rose Hardwicke, are also in the Launceston Family Album.
