Elma Florence Goodall was born in the Fingal district on 11 Jul 1877, the sixth of ten children of John Senior Goodall (1833-1913), a mining investor, and his wife Mary Ann Freeman (1845-1921) who were married in 1867. Elma, a saleswoman, married Charles Harry George Baxter, formerly of London, on 6 Sep 1905, at her parents' residence, Elphin Road. Their two daughters were born in Launceston: Elma Jessie on 11 Jul 1906 and Florence Ada on 8 Jul 1907, but baby Florence died less than three weeks later. Charles died in London on 10 Dec 1924 and Elma died in Hobart on 11 Aug 1929. Her sister Amy is also in the Album.
