Amy Eveline Goodall was the second daughter of John Senior Goodall (1833-1913), investor, and his wife Mary Ann Freeman (1845-1921). Amy was born on 21 Apr 1875 in the Fingal district where her father was involved in the mining industry. Amy was an alto in the Tasmanian Exhibition Choir of 1891-92; she was living in Mayne Street, Invermay, at the time.
She was married to Charles Daniel Peters of Branxholm at the residence of her parents by the Rev. E Cope on 29 Sep 1910. The couple moved to Launceston, where their three daughters were born: Winifred Jean on 11 Nov 1911; Doreen Edna on 15 Mar 1914; and Mary Joan on 17 May 1916. Winifred married HF Duck. Charles was employed as a storeman. Amy died at a private hospital in Launceston on 20 Sep 1968 aged 93. She had been a widow for 35 years. She was buried with her husband at Carr Villa in Section F1 No. 554. Charles had died aged 75 on 22 Jul 1933.
