Ormand Barry Davey was born on 18 Oct 1874, a son of Thomas Davey (1825-1892), a licensed victualler, and his wife Mary Bunton (1833-1903) who were married at Longford on 17 Nov 1852. He was christened as Osmond Barry on 27 Nov 1874 at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church at Cressy.
Ormand married Emmaline Craig, known as Lena, on 15 Feb 1916 at 'Haywood House'. They had a daughter, Mary Emma, born on 22 May 1918 at 13 Abbott Street, Launceston. Two years later they were living at 29 Ann Street. Ormand was an electrician and his wife was a confectioner. He died aged 47 on 31 Mar 1921 at 8 Albert Street and was buried at Carr Villa in Section F2 No. 233. Ormand's brothers Harold and Albert are also pictured in the Family Album.
