Emily Alma Cox was born at Longford on 14 Aug 1855, the eldest daughter of William Cox (1831-1908) and Elizabeth Jordan (1830-1912). She appears to have lived in Launceston all her adult life and died on 17 Sep 1929, aged 73. She was buried at Carr Villa in Section B1 240. Her younger sister Ida and brothers Harold and Oscar are also in the Album. Emily was most likely an alto in the Exhibition Choir along with her sister.
