Mrs Isabella Alice Bellion, known by her second name, was born in 1859 at Collingwood, Victoria, to Alfred Barrett Biggs (1825-1900) and his wife Harriet Burville (1834-1894). Alice Biggs married Henry Bellion on 23 Dec 1882 at her parents' residence in Launceston. She joined her husband, father and brother Walter in the Exhibition Choir to sing at the opening in 1891. From 1895 to 1904 she operated a school for local girls at 14 William Street, Launceston. Alice died on 31 Aug 1927 in Kew, Victoria, aged 68. Her only child Daisy Annie was born in Launceston on 7 Jun 1883. She married architect Charles Edward Serpell in Oct 1905 in Melbourne, and died there in 1967 aged 83.
