Mrs Elizabeth Coppock Barnard was born on 22 Jul 1839, a daughter of Dr Matthias Gaunt and his wife Frances Green of Windermere. She married Thomas Barnard, the second son of G W Barnard of 'Landfall', Dilston, on 15 Dec 1864 at the Holy Trinity Church, Launceston. Their seven children, George, Lilian, Clara, Frances, Thomas, Anne and Thomas Louis, were born between 1865 and 1876. Elizabeth died on 20 Aug 1903 at Lyttleton Street, Launceston, and was buried at St Matthias' Anglican Churchyard, Windermere. Her brother Edward Gaunt and family, daughter Frances Estelle Barnard and sister-in-law Sarah Barnard are also pictured in the Family Album.
